NURAS is a place of tradition and encounter.
We offer different workshops and activities like weaving, cooking and other traditional crafts to create an authentic sardinian travel experience for you. NURAS is supposed to be a meeting point of different cultures, perspectives and personalities to enrich your personal experience on this multifaceted island.
Our Story
The location of NURAS is the birth place of Mariantonia Urru - a mother, a weaver and an entrepreneur. She's running an internationally renowned textile company in Samugheo with her four sons and learned the mastery of weaving from her mother.
This house represents the ongoing transmission of an important traditional craft amongst the following generations and is therefore the perfect place to connect with the sardinian identity in an authentic way. We can't wait to meet you!
